What is this tool?

The Small Text Generator turns standard text into three different miniaturized font formats: Small Capitals, Superscript (raised), and Subscript (lowered) using Unicode symbols.

How to use it

1. Enter the text in the input box.

2. Select Small Caps, Superscript, or Subscript in the option dropdown.

3. The generated tiny text is updated in real-time, ready to copy.

Pro tips

  • Superscript is great for writing math exponents or footnote symbols in text messages: x³ + y².
  • Small Caps are popular for branding, aesthetic descriptions, and clean layout subheadings on social profiles.

Frequently asked questions

Why are some subscript/superscript letters missing?

Unicode does not define a complete, standardized set of subscript characters for the entire English alphabet (missing letters like q, w, g, etc. are substituted or mapped to their closest match). Superscript has better coverage, but also contains minor layout variations.

What are Small Caps?

Small Caps are lowercase characters designed to look like miniaturized capital letters (e.g., sᴍᴀʟʟ). Unlike standard CSS text-transform: small-caps, these are actual Unicode characters that remain formatted when copy-pasted.
