What is this tool?

Add Watermark imports PDF pages and embeds dynamic transparent text layers or rasterized images as overlays at computed page centers using pdf-lib.

1. Select and upload your PDF file.

2. Choose watermark type (Text vs. Image).

3. Input text stamp (e.g. "DRAFT") or upload watermark picture.

4. Set styling (size, angle, color, opacity).

5. Click "Add Watermark" and save your document.

An opacity level of 0.2 to 0.3 is recommended to prevent the watermark from obstructing main text readability.
Diagonal angles (-45 or -30 degrees) look the most professional for text stamps like "CONFIDENTIAL".

Can I add image watermarks (like logos)?

Yes! You can upload custom PNG or JPG images to use as watermarks, and adjust their scale and transparency layers.

Can I choose the rotation angle of text watermarks?

Yes. You can rotate text watermarks to any angle (typically diagonal at -45 degrees) to make them span across the page.

Will my watermark affect text editing?

The watermark is overlaid on top of page contents with a customizable opacity level so that the text underneath remains visible and readable.
